this summer, my sister's best friend got married.
they have been friends since high school
so it was really special to be a part of this day.
my sister and i created almost everything "paper" for the wedding.
i don't do many weddings because there is so much involved
and it's so much work to create 200-300 of everything!
but this bride and her mom were so appreciative
that it made everything worth it!
we were all so happy about how the vision came together.
i think it was the most beautiful wedding i have been to.
every detail was perfect!
..............
it all started with the invitation
we created a bracket shaped enclosure which
were individually cut using the cricut.
and wrapped it with wide navy grosgrain ribbon.
a custom made wax seal was the finishing touch.
the inside was a beautiful antique damask
print that my sister created.
isn't she amazing?!?!?
each piece was unique, but all coordinated.
beautiful fonts and details
...........
wedding details
we created pocket programs for the reception.
they were so cute. small, but still easy to read.
..........
escort cards
instead of numbers,
each table was named after a street in chicago
the tables were amazing!
we created the street signs and they looked great
with the dark silver tablecloths and beautiful flowers.
each plate had a little succulent. simple but so pretty!
the only snag we had was that the menus were misplaced...
they were supposed to be placed inside the napkin.
...........
"love is sweet"
candy bar!
candy labels
..........
other details
we did not make this- it was ordered on etsy- but what a great keepsake!

these pictures cannot even begin to show
how beautiful this wedding was, i was so proud to be involved
in such a well planned event!

santa banner
this is a mini banner that i thought would be perfect to hang on the end of your child's bed just to make sure santa knows to stop!
we are refinishing floors, so do not have any beds to model with :(
"hitched" banner
i made this banner for a gift to newlyweds.
Goldalicious Banner
i recently did programs for my cousin's wedding
i saw these programs on theknot.com
and wanted to use them as my inspiration
but her colors were teal, ivory and gold.
so instead of printing the black design onto the paper,
i decided to use my cricut to cut it out of
gold shimmer paper.
i used 1/16 in ribbon to tie the booklet together.
i didn't want the teal to take over,
so i just used it on their names...
the bride i created these programs for wanted
hot pink, black & a fleur de lis.
i really liked the black cardstock i used.
it was a leatherette and i think it made the finished product a little more "edgy".
the fleur de lis is also cut out of the black
using the cricut.
i like that it adds a little more texture than just printing it on.
i also did some coordinating table numbers.
the bride had frames that she put them in on each table.
the tiny polka dots on the stripe really make these cute!
so back in december my cousin asked me to make some special save the dates for her. she was visiting her fiance's family in ireland and wanted to hand some out while they were there.
since it was a small amount, we were able to do something a little more special:
i used this beautiful champagne shimmer paper as the background.
the layer that i printed on was a vanilla cardstock with a black inked border.
to tie in eamonn's irish heritage, i used an image of a celtic love knot drawn by my sister cathy. i embellished this with some pearls.
now that she has decided on a color for her bridesmaid dresses, she asked me to make something a bit more simple for a larger amount of out of town guests.
i found this more intricate knot design and created a save the date that could be professionally printed.
i love that we could stay with the same design but make it work for two different budgets!

my sister's wedding!
i can't take complete credit
for all of this. it was a group
effort between my sisters and myself.
the wedding was so nice and turned out exactly
how we had envisioned it.
